"I must admit I'm quite skeptical of bands from the 80s hitting the road again as mere shadows of their former selves. Many bands from the 80s should just stay retired and let us remember them when they were truly great. Terri Nunn and Sonic Live In Concert definitely do not fall into that category. I had read a few reviews mentioning that Terri's voice was still pretty good even after all these years. Well, that was an understatement! To hear a woman of 55 belting out vocals like she did at the new HOBs last Friday night was absolutely awesome. Not a single note missed, solid timing, and she interacted with the audience like very few lead singers can. Being just 10 feet from the stage made the night even more enjoyable! The rest of the band also deserves kudos. The drumming was excellent from beginning to end, keyboards were great, and having David Diamond join in the fun was just the icing on the cake. This show exceeded all my expectations!"
